During the summer workshop Master Yuantong Liu will create a relaxed and powerful healing Qifield. The connection with the Qifield is the fundament for a good practice environment and a unified entirety. The better the mental preparation, the better the body can relax.

Practice: The Methods
- Chen Chi is one of the Qi practice methods of Zhineng Qigong. It’s a great exercise to improve the functions of the lungs and heart. It stimulates the Qiflow in the shoulder area. It mobilizes the in- and external Qiflow in the whole body.
- The Body and Mind Method is the second level of Zhineng Qigong. This method has 10 sections that will activate the internal Hunyuan state of body and mind.
- The Core Improvement Method will strengthen the spine, loosen the Mingmen area and activate our lower Dantian Qi.
- Old Daoist exercises stimulate the Qiflow of our sensory organs that are connected to our inner organs.
- Stillness Meditation where you will have the opportunity to observe the changes in mind and body.
- Healing Methodsto stimulate the self-healing capacities.
Theory: We learn how important it is to do the movements in a Qigong state. How do I build a powerful Qiveld? How do I connect movements with meditation? With which conscious thought do I activate my YYT Qi to perform the movements on a deeper level? How do I let Qi flow deeper into my body to achieve a better health level? How do I experience the difference between the internal and external Qi level? We receive an answer to all these questions during this 8-day workshop.
Part 1: Open the Core and improve the internal Qiflow through the Body and Mind Method
In the first 4 days we will repeat the basic movements of the Core Improvement Method and we will deepen them with the meditations. Master Yuantong Liu gives you the deeper theory behind the movements. The Mingmen area and the internal gate of Mingmen (Hunyuan Shen Shi) will be activated. Through this activation you will be able to practice the sections of the Body and Mind Method in a different way. During the first part we will divide the Body and Mind Method in sections and practice these sections to improve our inner Qi-flow. To relax in between the practice of the Core Improvement and the Body and Mind Method we will practice old Daoist healing exercises that improve our sensory organs and stimulate our inner organs Qi.
Part 2: Connect the movements to the internal Qiflow
After having practiced, repeated and deepened the Core Improvement Method we will continue this process in the second part of the workshop. We will enter deeper meditations and feel that the Qi flows into deeper tissues of your body. That will calm down your mind in a special way. During the second part of the workshop we will continue to focus on the activation of our Mingmen area and our lower Dantian Qi. We will also continue to practice the internal Hunyuan Qi through the exercises of the Body and Mind Method. By the end of the 8-day workshop we will practice all sections of the Body and Mind Method well and we will know how powerful the combination of these two methods (the Core Improvement and Body and Mind) is. We will also continue to practice the old Daoist healing exercises during the second part of the workshop.
Personal care and attention
During the whole workshop Master Yuantong Liu and the team of the Zhigong Institute will correct the movements of the participants and there will be time to answer individual questions.
Specials – Hun Yuan Ling Tong
Master Yuantong Liu will share personal life stories where he used the concept of Hun Yuan Ling Tong. Hun Yuan Ling Tong means ‘it’s done already’, ‘the result is already manifested.’ This strong concept has been used by the Zhineng Qigong practitioners for many years. Through sharing his stories and giving examples from daily life you will learn how to integrate Hun Yuan Ling Tong more often into your own life.
Master Yuantong Liu grew up in a small village in China. Very young he started to practice Qigong. Later he heard about the Huaxia Center and his dream was to become a Zhineng Qigong teacher. After some years, he managed to participate in the Teacher Training in the Huaxia Center. There he studied the Hunyuan Qi theory developed by Grandmaster Pang Ming. He also gave lectures to thousands of people in the Huaxia Center. He lived and worked in the Center for many years. After the Center had been closed he and his wife moved to Meishan where they set up the Life Qi Center.
In 2009 Master Yuantong Liu and Anne Hering met in Meishan and since then they are working together. They organized many events together and Master Yuantong Liu gives the 3-year Masterclass Program for the Zhigong Institute Europe. Due to his special way of teaching and his profound knowledge about Zhineng Qigong Science he is a loved teacher in Europe and the rest of the world. He also has a big community of students in the USA where they publish the worldwide magazine about Zhineng Qigong. In his lectures, he combines the theory and practice of Zhineng Qigong Science in a unique way. In 2019 it’s 10 years ago that Master Yuantong Liu and Anne Hering met. Hun Yuan Ling Tong!

At the beginning of the workshop Master Liu told us that he will teach the Core Improvement Method, which previously we also practiced as a warming up. I thought by myself…4 days warming up? I did not feel happy about it. But I was wrong. In the next 4 days Master Liu explained the method with many details and he shared much more information than ever before. He inspired us and combined the Core Improvement Method with other methods of Level 1. Also, during the second part of the workshop where we learned all details about the L sitting method we continued the practice of the Core Improvement Method. The L sitting method was a revelation. I became so quiet deep inside. It felt like not having the need to breathe anymore. So quiet. I felt so rich when I experienced this quietness deep inside. It’s also great to know that it’s possible to become so quiet.
